In the article the analyze views of researchers early twentieth century on the agrarian question in politics S. Witte. Emphasis is placed on the fact that thematically historiographical space early twentieth century indicated the presence of two ideological and semantic niches. The first of them – is the attention to materials Special Meeting of the needs of the agricultural industry. Second – the characteristic of S. Witte and his economic model. It is noted that there is sufficient reason talk about that the historiography of the early twentieth centurywas proper pluralism thoughts. Despite the censorship, the authors of that time is not without negative consequences for themselves critically expressed to the agrarian policy of the authorities.
